About us
Bright Door Studios is a creative space in Newmains, North Lanarkshire, founded by Emma Ferla of Referlished and her husband Lucca of Transpiration, built on the belief that creativity should be part of everyday life.
Our first-floor studio is a welcoming place where local artists, makers and the community come together to create, share and connect.
Emma brings the creative energy, with a background in Jewellery, Costume and sustainable eco art practice, while Lucca brings a calm, person-centred approach shaped by lived experience. Together, they’ve created a space that feels both inspiring and supportive.
From workshops and exhibitions to handmade goods and shared studio space, everything here is about expression and opening the door for more people to be part of it.
