Annual Membership

Bright Door Studios offers annual memberships to emerging and established creatives across Scotland. Membership is open to students, artists and creatives based in Scotland, providing access to studio space, exhibition opportunities, open calls and the ability to sell work through our platform.

Our membership year runs from 1st July to 30th June, with all income reinvested directly into sustaining and developing the studio and its programme.

Bright Door operates as a supported creative space, providing structure, opportunity and access for creatives navigating often precarious career pathways. Through membership, we aim to create a mutually beneficial relationship, supporting artists to develop their practice while enabling the studio to continue offering accessible opportunities

Members Show

Participate in our annual Members Show which takes place in our Bright Door Gallery space.

Sell Work

Sell work at our meet the maker markets throughout the year at 0% commission! We charge a nominal fee to go towards stall hire. 

​Exhibitions

Members can submit proposals to have either solo or group shows in our gallery space at an affordable rate.

Studio Space

Members have the opportunity to rent one of our studio spaces for a very affordable price.
