Open Call for Artists and Makers
Bright Door Studios is inviting applications from artists, makers, designers, and creative practitioners to exhibit in our dedicated gallery space.
We welcome proposals from individuals and collectives working across all disciplines, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, illustration, mixed media, installation, and contemporary craft.
Our exhibition programme is designed to provide an affordable and accessible platform for creatives to showcase and sell their work, test new ideas, and connect directly with audiences.
Membership Requirement
This opportunity is open exclusively to Bright Door Studios members.
Annual membership costs £20 per year and gives access to exhibition opportunities, workshops, networking events, and member benefits.

Exhibition Fees:
- £30 per day (Tuesday–Saturday)
- Artists and makers are responsible for staffing their exhibition during opening hours
- Optional Sunday opening is available for an additional £50 fee
- Tuesday to Saturday: Included in standard daily fee
- Sunday: Available by arrangement only
What you can apply for:
Applicants can request exhibitions of varying lengths, from short showcases to week-long exhibitions. You will be asked to specify:
- Preferred exhibition dates
- Number of days required
- Whether you would like to include a Sunday opening
- Any technical or installation requirements
What we are looking for:
We are seeking high-quality, original work from emerging and established artists and makers. We particularly welcome applications from students, emerging artists, creatives exploring contemporary themes, sustainable practice, and innovative approaches to making.
